Jadd William Brooker: Brave Survivors Face Child Sex Offender in Court, His Actions Condemned Even by Other Offenders

The brave victims of an HIV-positive pedophile who filmed himself deliberately trying to infect children have told him he is an “evil parasite” who deserves to “rot in prison”.

Jadd William Brooker, 41, of Adelaide, pleaded guilty to committing 182 offenses of sexual abuse and exploitation against children and young people in Australia, Italy and Canada.

Arrest of former logistics manager in 2020 ultimately led to the collapse of a sickening online child abuse syndicate based in South Australia.

While awaiting sentencing, it is understood Brooker is likely to be targeted by other prisoners and possibly other sex offenders.

On Wednesday, after more than three years of hearings, Brooker’s victims finally had the chance to tell their tormentor what they thought of him in front of the Supreme Court, according to The advertiser.

His victims, all aged between 13 and 16, told him he was a “bad parasite” who deserved to “rot in prison”.

The victims, all aged 13 to 16 when they were targeted, told Brooker he was “mean, dirty and old” and that he “left a piece of himself” in each of them. them because of his HIV status.

“Why do I wonder if I have an illness that you wanted to keep secret? It’s like you left a piece of yourself inside me,” one victim said.

“You are a parasite who preys on vulnerable people. You are a predator who tried to play the role of savior.

“You ruined childhoods, you ruined teenage years. You are cruel.’

The court previously heard how Brooker told another person of his desire to “infect children and adults with HIV”.

Prosecutors alleged he had illegal sex with two teenagers and recorded one of them performing a sex act.

One victim committed suicide while the other was tested for HIV.

He pursued more than 20 teenagers for sexual purposes through apps such as Telegram and Skype.

One victim told the court she “did not come out” as gay when she started speaking with Brooker.

“It would have been easier if this had never happened or if he (Brooker) had died. I didn’t have to go through this process,” the victim said.

“You hurt me, I just want to tell you that you are an evil, worthless monster who deserves nothing for the future because you took mine and so many others.

“I hope you rot in prison.”

The mother of another victim who called Brooker “an excuse for a human, this nasty, dirty, old, HIV-positive pedophile.”

“The abuse my son suffered at the hands of this man is now forever his introduction to his sexual identity,” the mother said.

“He was preyed upon, manipulated, damaged, injured, suffering and violated in the most deplorable ways possible.”

“The images of the evil, revolting and deplorable things that were done to him give me nightmares while I sleep.”

She added: “The world would have been richer if he (Brooker) had not been born.”

A detective investigating the case described Brooker’s offense as “the worst and most degrading of his 14 years as an investigator.”

Brooker’s arrest eventually attracted other pedophiles, including a political adviser and a senior civil servant.

Brooker was remanded in custody Thursday for further sentencing proposals.

Prosecutors are seeking a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
