Jada Pinkett Smith turned her Instagram account private on Monday after posting a quote that sparked speculation.
The 52-year-old actress, who has 11 million followers on the social media platform, posted a photo of a block of text with a detailed message.
He said, “A man can CHOOSE to belong to someone. And if he does… he is considered noble. A woman is told she MUST belong to someone or… she is not worthy.”
The Baltimore-born star captioned the post: ‘Even in some of our great religious traditions, the goddess is rendered powerless without her male counterpart.
‘And in others, the spiritual influence of the feminine, of the Mother… is not even recognized.’

The Red Table Talk host continued: ‘We mere mortal women are worthy simply because we exist!
‘And those of us who have cultivated our Kingship within our inner realm and have a deep relationship with the Great Supreme.
Pinkett Smith said that “if we CHOOSE to connect with someone in this space… we will build a monumental love and give birth to treasures.”
He ended by saying, according to People“We don’t have to unite out of fear. You… are… greatness. Walk with that on Monday.”
Pinkett Smith posted a series of images on the site on Sunday recapping her experiences last summer as she bid farewell to the season.
“Summer is coming to an end and my heart has been blooming in so many ways,” Pinkett Smith said in the caption of the post, according to People. “I can’t wait to share it. Until then… I’m just embracing what’s left of the summer vibe.”
The outlet noted that one of the frames in the carousel was “a video of her riding a jet ski with an unidentified man,” prompting people in the comment thread to speculate about who it was, with some alluding to her ex-spouse Will Smith, 55.
The couple, who have been married since New Year’s Eve 1997, are parents to son Jaden, 26, and daughter Willow, 23, while the Oscar winner is also father to son Trey, 31, with ex-wife Sheree Zampino, 56.
The Red Table Talk host was photographed in Los Angeles in May at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall.

Smith, who said last year that she and Will have been separated since 2016, told the outlet that she and the Men in Black actor are “still figuring it out” and have “been doing some really heavy lifting together.”
She added: ‘We just love each other deeply and we’re going to figure out how that reflects back to us.’
“My children are little gurus. They have taught me a deep sense of self-acceptance.”
