The doctor has sued a number of former patients for claiming in online reviews that he botched their procedures, page 6 reported earlier this month.
Okhah, known as a BBL specialist, sued Leila Penn in July 2021 for more than $30,000 after she alleged the surgeon had “mutilated” her in a review for health market RealSelf.
Okhah denied his allegations in court documents obtained by Page Six, saying his statements were “false” and defamatory.
He also accused her of encouraging potential patients to seek treatment elsewhere by “engaging directly with” the website’s commenters.
The surgeon dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice in December 2021.
Then, in August 2021, the doctor filed a $30,000 lawsuit against Kyla Neirenburg for stating in a Google review that her “happy patients” “don’t exist.”
She also claimed in a review that patients should read Okhah’s reviews on RealSelf because the positive reviews were “probably fake” or written by staff or friends of the surgeon.
Okhah argued that Neirenburg’s review was defamatory, but the suit was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice in December 2021.
