Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has shared a glimpse of her unusual diet after losing a whopping 12kg in three months.
The 48-year-old radio host revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. on Thursday he regularly skips breakfast, a practice known as intermittent fasting.
He also avoids carbs and satisfies his hunger throughout the day by eating pre-cut pieces of steak.
“I cook steak and slice it up, and then I’ll have a slice of steak if I’m hungry,” he told his co-host, Kyle Sandilands.
Jackie, who is an ambassador for the WW weight loss program, is reluctant to splurge on high-calorie foods for lunch, opting to eat only “three small slices of steak” and a few Vietnamese rice paper rolls containing fish and cabbage. .
Kyle was surprised by the small size of her portion and told her, ‘A dog would eat more!’
For dinner, Jackie usually eats vegetables and a protein like chicken or red meat.
Between meals, Jackie indulges in milkshakes and Starbucks Frappuccinos, a type of blended iced coffee drink.
The mother-of-one hasn’t always followed such a restrictive diet.

In February, he told Women’s Day he used to binge on pizza, sausage rolls, and gas station microwave meals before he took control of his health.
“I was eating a lot of food that I could get my hands on quickly. You know, pizza and sandwiches and just takeout, she wasn’t cooking it myself,” she said.

The radio host (seen June 2022) regularly skips breakfast, a practice known as intermittent fasting, avoids carbs and satisfies her hunger throughout the day by eating steak.
Jackie took several weeks off from her radio show in November to focus on her health and recover from the lingering effects of Covid-19.
During her break, she began practicing tennis and aqua aerobics. In addition, her daily routine includes half-hour sessions on the gym treadmill.
She also signed up for the WW program for the second time, after regaining the weight she had lost when she first followed the program.
Between meals, Jackie treats herself to shakes and Frappuccinos from Starbucks.
“They’re probably thinking, ‘Damn, she’s the worst ambassador ever,'” Jackie said with a smile.
When she returned to work in January, the KIIS FM host looked noticeably slimmer.
Jackie first embarked on her weight loss journey in June 2021 after signing with WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers.
