Jackass star Steve-O commits himself on a BILLBOARD in LA to promote a new comedy special … while being reported on the crime-alert app Citizen and police arrive on the scene
Jackass star Steve-O was confronted by police after gluing himself to a billboard during his latest stunt on Thursday.
The prankster, 46, promoted his new comedy special Gnarly by climbing high above the streets at the corner of Hollywood’s North Cahuenga Boulevard.
Although he assured fans that he was protected by a ‘team of true professionals’, concerned onlookers called the police and took him to the crime reporting app Citizen.

Steve-O shared a bird’s eye view of his stunt on Instagram. In the selfies, he sat on a small ledge while completely covered in black duct tape.
While most would have been terrified, the MTV alum couldn’t wipe the grin from his face.
Below you could see a small crowd gathering, many with their phones out to capture the wild scene.
“I’m now stuck to a billboard,” he announced on social media. ‘ [I] want to emphasize that a team of real professionals has rigged everything safely. ‘
‘There is no chance that I will fall, and I think it is important that we do not waste valuable city resources on this. I’m happy to just hang out, and I really want the world to know about this project I’ve worked so hard on. It’s called Gnarly and, if you’re over 18, check it out on steveo.com! Thanks!’
While he adamantly wanted “valuable city resources” not to be wasted, the police had no choice but to stop by the scene.
