Jack Vidgen has been let down by hundreds of online fans after he shared Instagram photos of himself in “gender neutral” underwear.
The 25-year-old The Voice singer eschewed the fashion industry’s traditional gender binary on Friday by posing on a bed in a pink-and-green crop top and matching knickers.
Jack, who is gay, praised the underwear brand in the accompanying caption, writing, “So thankful for their gender neutral underwear.”

However, not all of Jack’s fans were so thrilled with the reality star’s decision to sport the feminine look.
On Sunday, the Australia’s Got Talent star took to Instagram Stories to complain that he had lost hundreds of followers after uploading the post.
“After I posted these photos recently, about 400 people unfollowed me. Crazy to think how seeing a boy in gender neutral underwear can make some people so uncomfortable,” he wrote.

It comes more than a year after Jack was forced to clarify that he is not transgender after rumors circulated that he was living as a woman.
The openly gay singer set the record straight on his gender identity in an Instagram post last May, in which he clarified that he is a man and disregards his/her pronouns.
He decided to speak out after dressing up for a night out with his I’m a Celebrity co-star Abbie Chatfield in Sydney.
Several fans wondered if Jack, who rose to fame as a teenager on Australia’s Got Talent in 2011, was trans because of his ultra-feminine looks.
