Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has announced his engagement to his long-term girlfriend Hanni Treweek.
The actor, 36, who plays David Platt on the popular soap opera, and his influencer partner, 32, took to their Instagrams on Sunday to reveal their happy news.
Jack got down on one knee during a romantic safari holiday in the Serengeti earlier this month, and the couple posed for loving photos in their safari outfits.
Showing off her sparkling engagement ring, Hannah smiled at the camera before kissing her new fiancé.
Captioning the snaps, she gushed: ‘06.05.24 I said YES to forever!!!’

David’s ex-wife Paula Lane, who played Kylie Turner, also expressed her delight and admitted she had guessed a proposal was coming.
She commented: ‘How strange that I had that feeling when I saw your adventure! Congratulations to both of you xxx’.
Paddy Bever, who plays David’s adopted son Max, commented with a heart emoji, while Corrie stalwart Alan Halsall added: “Congratulations to you two xx.”

They decided they wanted to use the bathtub, so Jack moved to try to get it going, but it wasn’t exactly what he expected and was even more difficult because of the rain.
He revealed that he was using lighter fluid to try to start a wood-burning hot tub during his Valentine’s break with Hanni, but it exploded in his hand.
He and Hanni have been dating since 2017, after meeting on the soap opera when she worked in the press office.

Jack added that there was a shoot with a hatch that he had to open, dropping logs and firewood in hopes it would get snagged.
Speaking on the Sofa Cinema Club podcast, he said: “I’m trying to light this kindling in my hand while I crane my neck to grab the umbrella to stop the water from putting out the flames.”
He shared that things soon became scary after he decided to use lighter fluid because he thought it would be an easier way to light the hot tub.
Jack said, ‘Just as I’m pouring in the lighter fluid, of course, I get a little bit of a flame and it lights up again. Eyebrows. Umbrella. And then the flame enters the bottle. I had to drop the whole damn thing.
‘Everything started and then it goes up as if it were November 5th. I’m lucky to still have my face.
He revealed that it had exploded in his hand and realized he should have put down the lighter fluid before dropping a match.
