Team GB’s diving pair Jack Laugher and Anthony Harding have won a bronze medal in the men’s 3m synchronised springboard final at the Paris Olympics.
The duo managed a final score of 438.15 which saw them finish behind the Mexican pair of Juan Manuel Celaya Hernandez and Osmar Olvera Ibarra, while China’s Zongyuan Wang and Daoyi Long took home the gold.
The world champions put in an outstanding display but were pressured every step of the way and finished just 2.07 points clear of their nearest pursuers.
Laugher and Harding’s exploits at the Aquatics Centre took Team GB’s medal total to 22 on day seven of the Games. The team has also continued its medal streak in every diving discipline so far in Paris.
Laugher, 29, has added Olympic bronze to her collection of bronze, silver and gold medals won in Rio and Tokyo.

Laugher and Harding occupied a podium position from the first round, oscillating between second and third place throughout the competition.
However, the colour of her medal was confirmed in the final round with a brilliant jump with a score of 94.62.
The pair only started working together in 2021, but have won European, Commonwealth, World and now Olympic medals during their time together.
