Ivanka Trump listed as witness AGAINST her father in New York fraud trial: Michael Cohen and ex-Trump Organization COO Alan Weisselberg will also take the stand in $250 million case
- Judge Arthur Engoron ruled this week that Trump was guilty of fraud
- According to the filing, the plaintiffs will target Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and calling Eric Trump
- Eric Trump and Don Jr. are Trump Organization executives
Former first daughter Ivanka Trump is among the Trump family accusers who plan to invoke the fraud trial that begins Monday in New York.
She is one of three Trump children listed as witnesses in the case, after Judge Arthur Engoron issued a stunning ruling finding that Trump and his company had committed fraud for years.
New York State AG Letitia James has sued Trump and his firm for $250 million in damages, in a lawsuit that will begin the penalty phase next week following Engoron’s summary judgment ruling.
Trump has attacked the judge as a “Trump Hater” and raged over the attack on his family business, amid uncertainty over whether the latest ruling would force him to liquidate his real estate and hospitality empire in the state.
Prosecutors plan to call former first daughter Ivanka Trump as a witness in the Trump fraud case. She was a senior adviser in the Trump White House. As an employee of her father’s company, she was involved in the lease of the Old Post Office for the former Trump hotel in DC
Prosecutors also plan to call former Trump fixer Michael Cohen, who testified before Congress in 2019 and leveled allegations that Trump inflated asset values in his communications with lenders and then scaled them back in tax returns. These alleged practices are at the heart of Engoron’s assessment of fraud.
He said Trump has increased his net worth by as much as $2 billion.
Cohen celebrated Engoron’s ruling this week by posting an image of a caviar online.
Also to be called will be Allen Weisselberg, former director of the Trump Organization, who pleaded guilty to tax fraud last year. Under a plea deal, he will serve five months in prison in exchange for testimony.
Trump’s defense team plans to call 128 witnesses. NBC reported.
Eric Trump, ex-director of the Trump Organization, fired off a series of angry tweets pushing back on the ruling, which also affects any entity controlled or owned by his father, him and Donald Trump Jr.

“As absurd as this case is, Judge Engoron knows that I have done absolutely nothing wrong. Any impartial judge who looked at the facts and extensive testimony would never have allowed my name to be dragged through the mud. Frankly, it’s cruel,” he wrote on X, the former Twitter site, on Wednesday.
That came after a post on Tuesday in which he wrote: “While everyone can see this case is egregious, the only thing worse than weaponizing the justice system against a political opponent is unfairly going after their family. Both the attorney general and the judge know that I have absolutely NOTHING to do with this case.”
Online critics noted that Eric Trump reportedly invoked the Fifth Amendment 500 times when he was impeached in the case.
