Chaos: ITV was thrown into chaos on Wednesday morning after Lorraine Kelly was forced to pull out of presenting her show at the last minute.

Upset: Bosses hired Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh to run the show at the last minute after Lorraine, 63, had to be sent home.
She wrote: ‘When you have to be sent home from work early in the morning because you’re suddenly attacked by some horrible insect and you were looking forward to interviewing @adamlambert THAT! More than disappointed but imagine if I had infected him!!!!!!’
Ranvir also stepped in to present Good Morning Britain alongside Ed Balls on Monday while Susanna Reid is in Ukraine, giving an interview live from the war-torn country.
It comes after Lorraine recently detailed her Valentine’s Day plans with her husband of 30 years, Steve Smith.
The TV star, who married cameraman Steve in 1992, said “little things count” when it comes to keeping their romance alive.
Lorraine admitted that she “doesn’t like grand gestures” but she loves it when her boyfriend cooks for her and they enjoy a nice quiet night together.
Having previously said that their sex life is “going great,” Lorraine said. checkweigher before the day: ‘There’s nothing like a relaxing evening with the one you love.
“Steve and I plan to stay home with a good meal and open a bottle of red together and enjoy it with a movie.
“We’ve been together for years, of course, but it’s still nice to do something thoughtful to mark the day.”

Oh darling! On Twitter, Lorraine revealed that she had been sent home after being “suddenly attacked by a horrible insect”.
Lorraine revealed that she enjoyed a lavish meal at home on the romantic day, with strawberries and chocolate for dessert.
It comes after Lorraine blushed earlier this month when Ben Shephard shared the very racy text messages her husband sends her during his live shows.
Ben and co-host Susanna Reid were wrapping up Good Morning Britain before doing a live link with Lorraine, and the presenter couldn’t resist bringing up an article involving her and Steve.
And Lorraine was clearly shocked by the cheeky messages from her partner that were revealed when she asked Ben, ‘How did they get that?’
During the live link where Lorraine explained what was coming up on her show, Ben, 48, quizzed her about the newspaper article, joking: “He seems to be very generous with his affections while you’re on air.”
He often likes to say how wonderful you look in the morning in an affectionate way.
To which a red-faced Lorraine replied: ‘It depends on what I wear. It depends on how much I’m showing.
Going into more detail, she continued: “Sometimes he says ‘Nice tits,’ before asking about the story: ‘How did they get hold of that? Where did that come from? Have I been talking too much again?
And while Ben suggested that Steve might be the source, Lorraine actually spilled the beans herself in an interview with Woman’s Weekly magazine.
Meanwhile, Susanna, 52, said of the situation: “As we approach Valentine’s Day, how beautiful. Your husband still texts you to say “Nice tits.”
With Ben chiming in, saying, “The next time Lorraine is on her show and looks at her phone, it could be Steve sending a little message.”
Lorraine didn’t feel so sure about this though, as she pointed to her geometric print shirtdress that was buttoned up to her neck and said, “This dress isn’t going to be getting any feedback from him this morning though, Ben.”
As Ben replied, “I’m sure he’ll send you something lovely anyway.”
Wrapping up the light-hearted exchange, Susanna said: ‘You always look fabulous, Lorraine. There are many serious problems, so it’s good to have a moment of joy.’
