Dancing On Ice fans were left in awe of the same thing during Sunday night’s semi-final.
Viewers were left baffled as to why the contestants were tasked with flying across the ice instead of skating.
Amber Davies, Miles Nazaire, Adele Roberts, Greg Rutherford and Ryan Thomas attempted to fly through the air for most of their performance.
But some spectators were disappointed by the lack of skating so close to the final.

‘I’m not a fan of this on air! No skating skills were shown up there!
‘#DancingOnIce I don’t like dancing on ice. Change the name of the program.’
“I don’t really see the point of flying over ice, it would have been more interesting if they had used a prop like the one in previous series.”
‘Well, that suited Amber… not skating at all. 10s………FFS, what a joke she is. Now tell me that’s not an agenda for her to win. 100% a FIX.’
This whole “flying” nonsense is ridiculous! Amber moved about 3 feet on the ice throughout the routine. This is supposed to be the semi-final!’
“This is the stupidest week of Dancing on Ice I’ve ever seen.”
Amber and her skating partner Simon Senecal scored an impressive 40 points for their beautiful dance – the highest score on the night’s leaderboard.
Adele and Mark Hanretty, who danced last, received 39 points for their emotional performance.
