Simone Holtznagel and Jono Castano have split just three months after welcoming their daughter Gia.
Celebrity personal trainer Jono confirmed that he and Simone decided to go their separate ways nine weeks ago at the end of May.
Jono exclusively told Daily Mail Australia: ‘We decided the best thing for her was to spend time with her family in Wollongong.
“Who knows what the future holds. Our goal is simply to be the best parents for Gia at this stage.”
Their split came about nine weeks after the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Gia, into the world on Easter Sunday.
The couple are believed to still be on friendly terms and are focusing on co-parenting their beloved daughter.
News of their split came just hours after Simone posted a cryptic quote about “moving on” on her Instagram Stories.
On Monday night, Simone posted a thinly veiled message on Instagram about prioritizing her own happiness in what appeared to be a reference to their split.

The couple split in late May, about nine weeks after the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Gia, into the world on Easter Sunday (pictured).
The quote read: ‘You shouldn’t feel guilty about moving on if you’ve given someone multiple chances to improve or change, but they haven’t.
‘We all have limits and it’s important to look after our own wellbeing. If you’ve tried to help or waited for them to change their behaviour but things have stayed the same, it’s okay to choose what’s best for you and move on.
‘Prioritizing your own happiness and peace is essential, especially when you’ve been patient and understanding for a long time.’
Simone is currently with her family in Wollongong, while Jono remains in Kensington, New South Wales, running his gym Acero, which he co-founded with his ex Amy.
As news of their split emerged on Tuesday, Jono also took to his Instagram Stories to reveal he had slept in his gym with his dog.
Their split also came just days after they took a trip to Tasmania with Jono’s ex, Amy Castano, and her new partner, Aaron Evans.
