It’s official: Final Fantasy XVI is banned in Saudi Arabia

Date:

Less than two months separate us from the launch of Final Fantasy XVI, which is one of the biggest titles of 2023, as PS5 owners await a fun adventure when it becomes available next June, but it seems that fans of the game in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will not be able to try the game through the special store them.

Where the Age Rating Authority for Electronic Games in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that Final Fantasy XVI was officially banned, after the authority had communicated with Square Enix over the past months in order to make certain amendments, but the Japanese publisher did not cooperate with the authority, which is what caused the game to be banned in the Kingdom.

It is reported that Final Fantasy XVI is officially coming on June 22nd on the PS5 platform.
