Metal Gear Solid 3 got an official reveal at the end of last month. It may be the first in a series of upcoming remakes of the series. The game takes place during the Cold War era in the 1960s. The game is the first part of the Metal Gear story chronology. And given some hints, it looks like MGS3 Remake could create an entirely new series of remake games.
The MGS3 page has been published on the Store Steam Just promised that the game has some in-game nudity, violence, and generally more adult content so far everything seems to be expected, similar to what publisher Konami has said so far about leaving Metal Gear Solid 3’s story unchanged.
There’s a small line on the game’s Steam page that hints at the developer’s bigger plans for the series “Discover the origin story of iconic military agent Snake, and begin to unravel the plot of the legendary Metal Gear series.”It looks as though the MSG3 Remake might just be the beginning of something, and we could see Metal Gear Solid 2.
It’s clear that Konami is ready to revive some titles from its old series with titles like Silent Hill 2 Remake but nothing official has been confirmed so far. In any case, the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake game is currently being developed exclusively for new generation devices and the PC through an internal studio at Konami in cooperation with Virtuos Studio.
