Isla Fisher has pocketed almost a million dollars after selling her Sydney apartment amid her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.

The Australian actress, 48, announced in April this year the end of her 14-year marriage to British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.

In the wake of their split, Isla had been trying to get rid of her two-bedroom apartment in Woollahra and managed to make a sale last month after slashing the price.

Now, it has been revealed exactly how much Isla managed to get for the art deco apartment, which she bought for $171,500 almost 30 years ago in 1995.

island has pocketed a generous $930,000 from the sale after it was originally listed for a guide price of $1.1 million at auction, according to information.

Isla first put the unit up for sale in September but was forced to cut the price twice before the auction was shelved due to a “weak” market.

Following the cancellation of the auction, the apartment shed another $100,000 from its guide price before returning to the market at a stable price of $990,000.

The sale was finally resolved through private negotiation on October 22 and Isla was said to be “happy” with the outcome of the sale.

Isla purchased the property, located just outside Centennial Park, just a year after launching her career as Shannon Reed on Home and Away.

While working on big Hollywood movies like Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic, Isla used her Sydney apartment as a rental investment property.

It was last listed in early 2021 for $400 a week, after being cut from $680 a week amid the Covid-affected rental market.

The apartment features a quiet, elevated rear position in the building along with an updated ‘spacious’ kitchen, bathroom and master bedroom with built-ins.

Most recently, Isla had been living in Western Australia with her now ex-husband Sacha, but is believed to be looking to move to north London.

Sources recently told The Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff that he has a budget of £13 million (AUD$24 million) and was house hunting in Hampstead.
