Isla Fisher has seemingly responded to her ex Sacha Baron Cohen following their split after nearly 14 years of marriage.

The 48-year-old actress posted a revealing message on her Instagram page on Tuesday while watching Robbie Williams’ concert in London.

The Wedding Crashers star shared a photo from the show and made sure to repost the lyrics to Robbie’s iconic song Angels, which the singer previously revealed is about loss and grief.

“On the other hand, I love angels. And despite everything, she offers me protection, lots of love and affection, whether she is right or not,” it reads.

‘Angels’ isn’t about anybody, it’s about the thoughts of loved ones who have passed away and who come back to take care of you,’ Williams said in 2009.

Isla has been living her best life after recently announcing her separation from her husband after 14 years of marriage.

The actress looked in high spirits on Monday as she laughed and joked with hunky British actor Ben Barnes at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on day eight of Wimbledon.

The recently single star threw her head back and laughed during a lively conversation with The Chronicles of Narnia star, who was sitting in the row in front of her.

Isla and Sacha, 52, announced in April that they had quietly separated last year.

The couple announced the news by sharing a photo of themselves together wearing tennis gear and using the sport as a metaphor for marriage.

His statement read: ‘After a long tennis match that lasted more than 20 years, we are finally going to put down our rackets.

‘In 2023, we jointly filed a lawsuit to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been working on this change quietly.

‘We will forever share our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate that you respect our family’s wish for privacy.’

Last month it was revealed that Isla is currently house hunting in Hampstead, North London.

The star, who shares three children with Sacha, has been living in her native Australia with the British comedian.

However, she is now planning to move to the UK, an indication that the couple’s split is being handled with an exemplary lack of animosity.

Sources told the Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff that the actress has a budget of around £13m and is looking for a permanent family home for herself and her three children.

A friend said: ‘It’s all about the kids and what’s best for them – there doesn’t seem to be any drama at all.

“Judging by the size of the budget, the family will now settle in London, but Isla will retain her place in Australia.”

Insiders claim the marriage had been “rocky” for years and Sacha was reportedly struggling after making the “sacrifice” of moving his family to Australia in 2020.

They moved from Los Angeles to Sydney, then to Perth, where Isla’s family lives, in September 2021, to escape Sydney’s strict Covid lockdown rules.

Sacha is believed to be in the process of buying a home of his own in London, while he is thought to be keeping a home in Los Angeles for work.
