Isla Fisher has delayed the sale of her Sydney apartment just hours before its auction.
The Wedding Crashers star, 48, bought the apartment, located in the Sydney suburb of Woolahra in 1995, aged 19, for just $171,500 after landing her role in Home And Away.
The auction was set for just hours before Saturday’s AFL Grand Final, but as reported news corporationThe auction was delayed two weeks.
JK Agency director Michael Minogue told the publication that the auction was shelved due to a “weak” market and that the price guide had been lowered from $1 million to $900,000 to generate more interest.
“The seller said let’s sell it,” he told the publication.
“We will go in two weeks if it doesn’t sell before, there is already a bit of interest.”
The two-bedroom Woollahra property is located just meters from Centennial Park and is a short walk from Bondi Junction.
The listing describes the pad as having a “New York-inspired feel” and features high ceilings and “stunning” period details.

Isla managed to keep the house with a small victory during her separation from her husband Sacha Baron Cohen.
The former Home and Away star was just 19 when she first bought the 1930s Woollahra apartment, and the unit was renovated years later in 2020.
Isla and Sacha, 52, who jointly filed to end their marriage in 2023, share two daughters and a son whom they often keep out of the public eye.
The couple first met in 2001 and married in 2010, with the end of their marriage coming just a few years after moving their family to Australia.
The auction was scheduled to take place just hours before Saturday’s AFL Grand Final, but as reported by News Corp, the auction has been delayed by two weeks.

They moved from Los Angeles to Sydney in 2020, then to Perth, where Isla’s family lives, in September 2021, to escape Sydney’s strict Covid lockdown rules.
At the time, they said the move to Western Australia would be permanent.
However, his move from the United States to Australia was said to have been “difficult” for Sacha because he was based in Hollywood and had a shorter flight to London from there.
The exes announced in April that they had quietly split last year.
“After a long tennis match that lasted over 20 years, we are finally putting down our rackets,” Isla captioned a photo of them wearing tennis gear.
