A young Australian nurse said her “soul left her body” after she was given the “world’s worst haircut” during a horror experience in a country town.

Bell shared the choppy, uneven bob she got at a popular hair salon chain in a small town six months ago in a TikTok video posted last week.

She explained that she had recently moved to the city with her boyfriend and didn’t trust anyone to share the details of the best local hairdresser.

She decided to get her hair cut at a popular hair salon chain known for its walk-in appointments and cheaper prices.

Bell told the stylist that she wanted a cut but hated the look of layers. He also asked them to use thinning scissors or cut a shorter cape near their neck, out of sight.

“If anyone thinks they’ve had the worst haircut in the world, I just want to say no, they’re wrong. It was actually me,” he said.

“Of course, I am aware that the hairdresser I chose was my fault, that is my mistake,” he said.

‘The description I gave is probably bad, but still. There are two parts of this haircut that are bad: one, it wasn’t what I ordered. Secondly, it’s actually a really bad haircut.

Bell was left with several choppy layers at the back of his head and some so short they grazed his ears.

Meanwhile, the front part of the hairstyle looked no better, with both sides cut to different lengths and significantly shorter than the back.

When the stylist revealed the finished product, Bell said she went into “flight mode” and couldn’t bring herself to ask them to fix it.

“The back was really where I realized how bad it was for the first time, she showed me the mirror and I instantly felt my soul leave my body and my brain hit my butt. I thought, ‘I love it’… I had no guts,” he said.

The only way Bell was able to “fix” her hair was by wearing the top half up and the rest down until it grew out three months later.

The Australians were shocked by the final result.

“I promise it’s worse than I expected,” one wrote.

“The way my jaw dropped,” said another.

‘I thought, ‘It can’t be that bad.’ I was wrong. It’s that bad. I snorted. I’m so sorry.’

‘As a hairdresser, I perfectly understood your explanation of what you wanted. “I can’t even understand what I was thinking,” wrote a fourth.
