Ghost hunters believe they have recorded the ghostly howl of the Loch Ness monster.
Marquis HK, 55, and his friend Mark Dann travel around the UK visiting spooky places with their ‘spirit detection’ kit.
The friends took their dowsing rods, compass and camera to the shores of the famous Scottish loch and asked if any spirits were present.
A video shows the rods suddenly moving and a macabre scream can be heard in the background.
The team believes this is Nessie’s howl and is strong evidence for the theory that the Loch Ness Monster is a spirit.

Marquess, from Inverness, who works at a Nessie-themed exhibition centre: “I’ve always had a fascination with the Loch Ness monster”
The couple was filming an episode of their YouTube series Extreme Ghost Hunters at the time.
Marquis, from Inverness, who works at a Nessie-themed exhibition centre, said: “It was amazing.
‘It’s a very distinctive sound and it blew us away.
‘It’s the sound of a creature moaning and it echoes throughout the lake.
‘The Loch Ness Monster has fascinated me all my life; it’s incredible that this has happened.
‘One of the most common theories about Nessie is that she is a spirit, and the sound we heard is strong evidence of that theory.

The team believes this is Nessie’s howl and is strong evidence for the theory that the Loch Ness Monster is a spirit.
“I’m becoming more and more of a believer in this theory. It explains why Nessie’s existence has never been proven or detected, and why no living animal could have been there for so long.
Nessie has been seen, but people may not be seeing a physical creature.
“We didn’t hear it when we were there, but we did hear it on the recording. I can’t explain it, it’s paranormal.”
“It cannot be a human sound and it cannot be coming from the equipment. We use hand-held equipment, so it cannot generate any ‘fake’ sounds.”
The couple began ghost hunting earlier this year, inspired by Marquis’ interest in the paranormal and tour guide Mark’s knowledge of local history and myths.
An occultist named Aleister Crowley lived on the lakeshore at Boleskine House, and some believe he summoned many spirits there.
Marquis said, ‘We’ve had movement of our team while hunting in the cemetery where Crowley summoned many spirits; perhaps he opened a portal.’
