Chelsea’s new signing Marc Guiu has been criticised by fans for his “embarrassing” misses against Servette in the Conference League.
Guiu, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer, was making his first start for Chelsea after coming on as a substitute against Manchester City in the Premier League last weekend.
The 18-year-old looked set to score his first Chelsea goal after finding himself in an open goal following a clearance by Servette goalkeeper Jeremy Frick.
However, Frick managed to get back to stop Guiu’s shot, and the striker then had another attempt saved.
Surprisingly, Frick managed another save against Guiu, who was left extremely frustrated.
