However, the dress did not materialize, as the pop star-turned-designer was apparently too busy to make a wedding dress.
However, two years later, the couple seems to be getting along like a house on fire.
At the star-studded premiere of Lola in Los Angeles last weekend, the family members posed in a stylish embrace for the waiting paparazzi, with Nicola sporting an outfit by, you guessed it, Victoria Beckham.
Nicola was also joined on her big night by Brooklyn and her close friend Selena Gomez.
On Instagram, Victoria posted that she “couldn’t be prouder” and referenced Nicola wearing head-to-toe “custom #VictoriaBeckham.”
Clearly leaving any fashion feud behind, the couple’s close relationship is increasingly reflected in Nicola’s current wardrobe.
In recent years, the actress, model and director has adopted some of Victoria’s signature styles, including adopting a more monochromatic wardrobe, leather clothing and hair in a deep, shiny brown hue. It’s all very Victoria Beckham.

And sure enough, Nicole is also a fan of the vest-and-cap look, and recently shared a photo on her Insta that shows her wearing just that and holding the family’s adorable white Chihuahua.
When it comes to color, like Victoria, Nicola has become increasingly reluctant to wear it for everyday looks and sticks with reliable neutrals.
