In a nod to their unique setup, on their first public outing, they were joined by Sienna Miller, who looked happy sitting across from the couple.
Sturridge and Miller previously dated for four years and share daughter Marlowe, 13. They separated in 2015.
But they still get along, and Miller calls Sturrdige his “best friend.”
He gave his ex and Alexa his seal of approval, telling Vogue UK in December: “I’m so happy for them.” It’s really lovely.’
After their split in 2015, it was claimed that Miller and Sturridge had different goals. A source said at the time: ‘Tom wanted to get married and have more children. Sienna didn’t.
Meanwhile, Miss Chung has enjoyed a series of high-profile romances.

Mango’s new video is Alexa Chung’s latest leap back into the spotlight.
At this week’s British Fashion Awards, she walked the red carpet in a fluffy Miu Miu coat worth £10,000 and then presented an award to Margaret Barbour.
In October she returned to the catwalk and modeled for Miu Miu at Paris Fashion Week.
And in September he released a collaboration with Barbour.
She originally began her career as a television presenter and has since worked with companies such as M&S, Mulberry and J Crew.
In 2009, Alexa was named Vogue’s best-dressed woman of the year at the age of 25, beating Cheryl Cole, Emma Watson, Sienna Miller and Kate Moss to the title.
That same year, she was named contributing editor to British Vogue, a position she still holds almost 15 years later.
Now working with Mango, Miss Chung spoke to viewers about three questions about fashion and style.
When asked if dressing for age is outdated, he said, “I think it’s an outdated notion.”
In June, the couple was seen wearing matching rings, but in the new video it’s hard to miss the large ring on their bare hands.
‘I think any kind of rules, regulations or any kind of imposition of an idea about how you should behave or be is quite outdated and no longer appropriate.
‘Mainly because dressing up takes the fun out of it and you should be free to represent yourself however you want.
‘I like a navy jumper, classic jeans, a trench coat, a Mary Jane, a loafer and, luckily for me, they are back in fashion.
‘But because I was always firm in what attracted me, it meant I didn’t have to get too carried away by trends.
‘Maybe I like to buy or invest in pieces that will last longer.’
