Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska welcomed their first child together just two months ago.
The Bachelor stars, who first fell in love on the show in 2020, are on tour with their newborn daughter, Ava, traveling to remote parts of Australia.
On Sunday, Irena gave her fans a glimpse of what life on the road is like with such a young baby, opening her inbox to questions about how she’s coping.
She admitted the hardest lesson is that “everything takes a little longer with a baby.” Just like getting the truck ready, I now hold Ava while Locky gets the truck ready.
Irena further explained how the couple handles long trips.

On Sunday, Irena gave her fans a glimpse of what life on the road is like with such a young baby, opening her inbox to questions about how she’s coping.
She admitted the hardest lesson is that “everything takes a little longer with a baby.” Like getting the truck ready, now I’m holding Ava while Locky gets the truck ready.
‘We split the 13-hour trip over three days with stops halfway for feedings and nappy changes. Otherwise, Ava slept the entire trip. She didn’t move or cry,’ she said.
The former reality star also responded to a question about whether she is worried about being in remote areas without easy access to hospitals.
‘Obviously we are very far apart. We’re about 90 minutes from Exmouth so I consulted a GP (my best friend) before leaving Perth about what to pack,” she said.
“First of all, we have Starlink connected since there is no phone service here and we also have a radio in the car,” Irena continued.
Irena also explained how the couple manages long trips.
‘We split the 13-hour trip over three days with stops halfway for feedings and nappy changes. Otherwise, Ava slept the entire trip. “She didn’t move or cry,” she said.
‘We always travel with a first aid kit and then to that I have added: children’s paracetamol, Infacol, Nilstat, cold compress, nasal aspirator and digital thermometer.’
Additionally, she wrote in an Instagram caption: “By far the happiest I’ve ever been in my life is being a mom to Ava. I’m enjoying every moment with her and I hope this is the start of a lifetime of travel and adventure for our small.
“Don’t get me wrong, traveling with a baby hasn’t been easy, but it’s all forgotten when I see her smile and laugh.”
Irena added: ‘It took us a little longer than usual to get here. We split the 13 hour trip over three days with plenty of stops for Ava and Odin (her dog).

“And we’re camping in our Journey Outback, which has all the amenities we need to keep Ava comfortable and happy.”
Irena and Locky announced the arrival of their newborn in February.
