Vile footage on social media shows Irish football fans attempting to rile up English supporters by singing a disgusting chant about former Queen Elizabeth II.
England celebrated a shock 2-0 victory over Ireland in Dublin on Saturday that gave Lee Carsley a convincing and victorious start to the Three Lions’ reign.
Former Ireland youth representatives Declan Rice and Jack Grealish were the scorers in the comfortable win which left Irish fans upset that two of their former players scored.
Sunday marked two years since the Queen passed away at the age of 96 after 79 years on the throne.
Hostilities have always been high between the two groups of footballing nations who have competed just four times since the turn of the century.

Thousands of people flocked to the Aviva Stadium as England dashed Ireland’s hopes of what would have been a famous triumph over their neighbours across the water.
Now, a group of Ireland supporters who were standing near a group of England supporters have gone viral after singing a vile song mocking the Queen’s passing.
The crowd pointed at passing fans and repeatedly shouted “Lizzie’s in a box”, with some England fans responding with their own gestures.
Police could be seen escorting England fans as they walked past an area, however there were no signs of any physical altercation taking place.
A crowd of Irish fans could be seen and heard chanting in favour of the English fans.
Viewers of the video were quick to respond to the footage which has so far been viewed more than 200,000 times on an X channel, with many angered by the chants.
One post responding to the video read: “I’m Irish. These lads are clowns. There are decent Irish people and there are decent English people. Surround yourself with good people, no matter where you’re from.”
Another added in a similar tone: “Let them do it, if it makes their little lives happier.”
England will be back in action on Tuesday against Finland, when they will play in front of their home crowd for the first time since their emotional defeat in the Euro 2024 final.
