Iraqi Kurdistan authorities: a “Turkish” strike kills three fighters linked to the PKK
The Anti-Terrorism Directorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced on Tuesday that three Yazidi fighters from an organization linked to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) were killed in a drone strike in northern Iraq, which it attributed to the Turkish army.
The directorate said in a statement that “a Turkish drone targeted, today, Tuesday, the headquarters of the Şengal Protection Units” in the Khana Sur area of Sinjar district, adding that “the bombing resulted in the death of three fighters of those units and the wounding of another.”
