Iraqi Kurdistan authorities: a “Turkish” strike kills three fighters linked to the PKK

The Anti-Terrorism Directorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced on Tuesday that three Yazidi fighters from an organization linked to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) were killed in a drone strike in northern Iraq, which it attributed to the Turkish army.

The directorate said in a statement that “a Turkish drone targeted, today, Tuesday, the headquarters of the Şengal Protection Units” in the Khana Sur area of ​​Sinjar district, adding that “the bombing resulted in the death of three fighters of those units and the wounding of another.”
