Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium exceeds 23 times the limit allowed in the 2015 agreement (IAEA)
The International Atomic Energy Agency announced on Wednesday that Iran’s estimated stockpile of enriched uranium has exceeded more than 23 times the limit allowed under the 2015 agreement between Tehran and major powers.
According to a confidential report by the International Atomic Energy Agency, seen by AFP, Iran’s total stockpile of enriched uranium amounted to an estimated 4,744.5 kilograms on May 13. The permissible limit in the agreement is 202.8 kilograms.
