A pastor from Iowa was arrested for sexual abuse of children, just a few hours before he would perform at a music festival with his Christian rock band on Saturday.
Emanuel J. Rodriguez, 44 is accused of improperly touching two girls who are known to him, who are believed to be 11 and 12.
The alleged incidents occurred while he and she were under blankets.
Rodriguez also attacked the minors in two of his former homes in Omaha, Nebraska according to police documents.
The alleged incidents took place between January 2017 and May 2019.
The parents of the children reported it to Project Harmony last week.
Authorities started investigating and several children claimed that Rodriguez would improperly touch them while watching a movie on a couch at home & # 39 ;, News 6 reports.
A 16-year-old claimed that he had sent inappropriate images and messages on Instagram and Snapchat.
The police then received an order for his arrest in Douglas County, Nebraska.

Rodriguez was eventually detained in Carlton County Jail, Minnesota on the morning his 70xForgiven music group would play the Wood City Music Festival in Duluth, TwinCities.com reported.
The man named as a minister in the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa, was held without bail on two counts of the third-degree sexual abuse of a child.
He refused extradition and is expected to return to Nebraska soon.
KETV reported the statement saying that two adolescent women described similar encounters with the accused man as the 11-and-12-year-old girls.
However, Rodriguez is not currently confronted with charges for those allegations.
& # 39; It is extremely worrying that there are people who take advantage of the position they are in, with a relationship or trust they have with the parents or the child itself, to give them the opportunity to do these terrible things, & # 39; Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said.
