Ioan Gruffudd has denied explosive claims by his 13-year-old daughter Ella that girlfriend Bianca Wallace ‘slammed a door on her head’, MailOnline can reveal.
Ella, whose mother is Gruffudd’s ex-wife Alice Evans, made the claims last month while seeking a restraining order against Gruffudd and Wallace in Los Angeles.
The girl alleged that Wallace “slammed the door on me causing the door to hit me in the head as well as my arm”, and she was left with a bruised arm and a bump on the head.
But Fantastic Four star Gruffudd has now given his side of the story, claiming in new court documents that Ella actually threw her arm in the front door as it closed.
The 49-year-old said Wallace, 30, called him while he was in the kitchen cleaning oats from his hair and clothes, after Ella threw them at him .
He added: “She (Wallace) was visibly shaking and pissed off. She told me that when she tried to close the front door, Ella threw her arm into the door as it closed.
This contrasts with Ella’s testimony that Wallace “slammed a door on her head” and left her with “bruises” as she tried to flee their home after an argument on May 26.

In contrast, Ella’s evidence claims that Wallace “slammed the door in my face” and hurt her.
The incident took place when Gruffudd took Elsie and Ella to his apartment to meet Wallace for the first time.
Ella said in her submission that she was “so mad” at her father that she “thrown milk on his bed, poured mustard on the floor, and threw raw oatmeal at him.”
She claimed that Gruffudd and Wallace then “called her ‘manipulative’, ‘abusive’ and ‘narcissistic’ – words he claims the actor denies using.
After the argument, Ella ‘decided she couldn’t be in this apartment anymore’ and tried to leave – when she said Wallace ‘tried to block her’ by ‘raising his arms’.
“I was able to push my way around her and opened the door,” Ella’s testimony continued.
“I was able to walk halfway to the door, but while I was still within the door frame, the respondent slammed the door on me, causing the door to kick me in the face. head and arm. My arm was bruised and I had a small bump on my head.
Ella and Gruffudd’s evidence agrees that Ella then tried to run away from the apartment while her father chased after her.
Gruffudd said in his statement that he followed the girls, but Ella yelled at him that she was going to call the police – and the girls then ran out the garage door.
He continued, “I caught up with them for a while and asked them to come back. They were laughing and seemed to enjoy the drama. They kept running away and I tried to check on them by phoning Bianca to ask Dr. LeGagnoux for help.
Eventually, Gruffudd said he caught up with them as they got into the car of the father of one of Elsie’s friends, a man named Dennis Hauk.
Gruffudd said: “I spoke with Dennis and we agreed that he would take the girls to Alice’s house and that Bianca and I would follow to make sure they arrived safely.”
Ella also gave her version of events in her court submission last month.

She wrote: ‘My dad caught up to me and he was trying to stop me from leaving and trying to grab me, and I kept dodging him.
“I kept screaming, ‘Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me! I was able to escape and ran outside with my sister.
Ella said Gruffudd ran after her daughters and “finally caught up to them”, alleging that she “screamed at him, ‘Your girlfriend slammed a door in my face!’ to which he replied, “No she didn’t, no she didn’t, stop lying.”
The girl added that she had phoned her nanny, Gloria Flores, who had arranged for Mr Hauk to pick them up.
She wrote: “My dad and Dennis have agreed that Dennis will drive me and my sister to my mom’s house and my dad will follow.”
The next day, she said Evans saw the bruise on her arm and made the decision to call Beverly Hills police, who referred them to the West Hollywood area where the incident occurred.
Both parties’ revelations came in papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court after Ella sought a temporary restraining order against Gruffudd and Wallace.
Ella also requested civil protection against harassment from Wallace – who Gruffudd has been dating since 2021. The request will be heard in court this Friday.
The restraining order application was filed following the incident at Gruffudd and Wallace’s home while Ella and her nine-year-old sister Elsie were visiting.
It marks the latest development in the stunning domestic drama that began when Gruffudd left then-wife Evans in 2021 after a 14-year marriage.
