It appears the Kansas City Chiefs will see an influx of new fans at games after ticket interest soared following Taylor Swift’s shout-out to boyfriend Travis Kelce in Buenos Aires.
The pop star, 33, sent Swifties into meltdown when she changed the lyrics to hit song Karma and included a few words about her NFL star boyfriend, who watched with her dad in a VIP tent on Saturday night.
Swift sang “Karma is the Chiefs guy who comes straight home” to replace the original lyric: “Karma is the guy on the screen who comes straight home.”
Like most things the couple does, this sparked a wave of outrage on social media and prompted a flurry of Google searches looking for tickets to a Chiefs game – where Swift was regularly seen before her hit tour restarted.
Analysis of Google search data by Fr-CasinoSpot has revealed that online searches for ‘Chiefs tickets’ exploded by 150 percent globally following the shoutout.

But it seems some Swifties still have no idea what she was talking about in the song, as searches for ‘what is chiefs’ saw an incredible 289 percent increase worldwide.
In addition to ticket searches, global interest in searches for “Kansas City Chiefs” skyrocketed 496 percent after the concert, proving how eager Swift fans are to learn more about Kelce’s team.
DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that the NFL star flew out of Kansas City at 11pm on Thursday – making an hour-long stop in Panama City for refueling – before flying to Buenos Aires to reunite with Swift on Friday afternoon.
Swift ran off the stage, ran to Kelce and embraced him with a hug and a kiss
He was supposed to watch two of the star’s Buenos Aires shows, but the first was postponed due to heavy rain, allowing her to dine with her NFL boyfriend at the Four Seasons’ exclusive Elena restaurant instead.
Kelce, 34, spent Saturday night dancing and singing in a VIP tent during Swift’s Argentina Eras Tour leg with her father Scott.
A viral video captured the moment Kelce heard Swift’s improv, in which the superstar athlete slapped his hands against the side of his face in utter amazement before breaking out some smooth dance moves.
The lyric change wasn’t the only moment Taylor thought of Travis, as she also sang directly to him and delivered the lyrics “that’s my man” during her performance of “Willow.”
At the end of the show, Kelce was waiting in the wings to greet his girlfriend and the smitten Grammy winner ran into his arms before they shared a kiss.
As a sign of approval, Scott — who was only recently introduced to Kelce — was photographed with a Chiefs lanyard around his neck, despite being a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
DailyMail.com then exclusively revealed that Kelce made a pit stop at McDonald’s before boarding a private plane on Sunday to get back in time for Chief’s training.

After leaving his luxurious four-star hotel, Kelce and three members of his security team made a quick stop at a nearby McDonalds, although the tight end was left empty-handed.
Wearing the same green baseball cap he wore when he arrived, Kelce wore a beige tracksuit as he boarded the plane.
The star ran up the stairs of the private plane after a brief delay at the airport and took off at 12:30 p.m.
After Taylor attended four of Kelce’s games this season, the NFL star returned the favor during his time off.
The Chiefs had a bye week, but he will play against brother Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night in a replay of this year’s Super Bowl.
Swift has shown her support for her new boyfriend by attending several games at Arrowhead Stadium, and hosted a watch party for the WAGs at her New York apartment when the Chiefs took on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
