Inter Milan put more pressure on stuttering Serie A leaders Juventus thanks to a 3-0 relegation victory, Genoa threatened to close the gap to four points at the top.
Antonio Conte’s team, which has two games to go, moved above Atlanta to second place with 76 points, four behind Juventus, which hosts Sampdoria on Sunday.
Juventus, who has three games to play, will complete the title if they win on Sunday, but they have recently looked shaky with only one win in five games.
