Thomas Ramos scored a 79th-minute shot to give France the final victory over England in a back-and-forth thriller in Lyon to end the Six Nations.

France led 16-10 at half-time, but Steve Borthwick’s England fought their way into the lead after the restart, only to fall behind again in Lyon.

Both teams knew the trophy was out of their hands following Ireland’s victory over Scotland earlier in the day, but were still chasing second place in the tournament.
