Champions League semi-finalists Inter Milan have reached the final of the Italian Football Cup.
The defending champions defeated Juventus Turin 1-0 (1-0) in the second leg of the semifinals on Wednesday evening, which was enough to qualify for the final after the 1-1 draw in the first leg. It was the repeat of last year’s final.
Defender Federico Dimarco (15th) scored the only goal in the “Derby d’Italia” after the heated first duel with three red cards and racist insults against Inter striker Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian’s subsequent ban was personally overturned by the head of the national football association.
Final opponents Inters on May 24th will be either AC Fiorentina or US Cremonese (first leg 2-0).
