A university graduate has revealed why she decided not to pursue a legal career of a company so that she could get paid to travel the world full time.
Tahlia Skaines, from the Gold Coast, graduated in 2016 after four years of study, but soon realized that she was a lucrative career as an Instagram influencer.
Last year alone, the 24-year-old traveled to Morocco, Los Angeles, the Cook Islands and Vietnam, where they collaborated with popular fashion brands such as Boohoo, Oh Polly and Beginning Boutique.
The young globetrotter, who documents her adventures online, told FEMAIL that she is now building a villa in Bali for tourists to rent out and she is not going to soon exchange her bikinis for tailored suits.

Tahlia Skaine, from the Gold Coast, has revealed why she decided not to pursue a career in law, so she could get paid to travel full time around the world
Although Tahlia is a qualified lawyer – graduated in 2016 – she said she has no plans to start practicing soon
& # 39; I was really going to be a lawyer, and if you told me a few years ago that this would be my career, I honestly wouldn't have believed it, & # 39; said Tahlia.
& # 39; I am so happy that I completed my law degree, I used elements from it in building Villa Tahmi and in my daily life and I can always come back to it when I need it.
& # 39; But it is not something that I see that I should do with the way my career progresses. & # 39;
While she is a qualified lawyer, Tahlia, she said she has no plans to start practicing soon.
& # 39; I always intended to be a lawyer, but I actually just ended up in this industry to be honest & she said.
For the past year alone, she has traveled to Morocco, Los Angeles, the Cook Islands and Vietnam with brands such as Boohoo, Oh Polly and Beginning Boutique
Tahlia said while the lifestyle that her audience sees on her social media channels is the end product, the work that happens behind the scenes often goes unnoticed.
& # 39; There is definitely a stereotype associated with influencers that it is all glitz and glamor, but that is certainly not always the case, & # 39; she said.
& # 39; Don't get me wrong, it's super rewarding and I often pinch myself that this is my & # 39; work & # 39; but among all my projects I don't have much downtime & # 39 ;.
She never spends more than a few weeks at home and generally has several projects en route.
In the past few months, Tahlia and her long-term friend, Mitch, have developed a new project to share with her 345,000 fans.
The construction of Villa Tahmi is well underway in Canggu, Bali and Tahlia and her friend Mitch will rent it out on AirBnB

HOW TAHLIA STAYS SUITABLE DURING TRAVEL
& # 39; Traveling so much makes it super hard to have consistency or a normal routine, so I am still learning to find a balance.
& # 39; But I am a big foodie! I travel to beautiful locations around the world and get in touch with so many great dishes.
& # 39; I think it's important to try not to enjoy too much.
& # 39; I also try to practice while traveling. It can be difficult when you have multiple photo shoots in one day and you can do video editing all night.
& # 39; Even if it is only a 20-minute circuit, it all helps – and tire tires are a lifesaver! & # 39;
& # 39; I am so excited about Villa Tahmi! My boyfriend and I are building this beautiful villa and it has just been my absolute dream for so long, & she said.
& # 39; Bali is one of my favorite places in the world, I can't count the number of times I visited, so the location for the build was a good idea. & # 39;
Tahlia and Mitch spent a week in Bali in March looking for a location and said the piece of land they found was perfect.
In a blog post with details about the build, Tahlia said she always wanted to build her own villa on a certain road in Canggu, a beach town just south of Seminyak.
& # 39; Before I got here, I had exactly the street in Canggu that I wanted and I don't even exaggerate when I say it's right in the middle of the street & # 39 ;.
Tahlia told FEMAIL Villa Tahmi will be completed within the next month and it will open the place for bookings through AirBnB by September if everything goes according to plan.

She described the project as her & # 39; little baby & # 39; but revealed that she still has two projects in the pipeline that she plans to share with her followers in the coming months.
& # 39; I took the time after I graduated to travel even more and during that time my followers started to grow.
& # 39; The more I traveled and uploaded photos, the faster my followers grew and I am enormously grateful to be where I am now and to have had these incredible opportunities to travel the world.
& # 39; I love what I do and wouldn't want it in any other way, & # 39; she said.
