Inside the glamorous life of ketamine queen Jasveen Sangha, played by Matthew Perry, as she is hauled off to prison for her overdose death

With her designer clothes, celebrity friends and extravagant holidays, Jasveen Sangha looks like a typical Hollywood socialite.

But the shiny exterior hides a criminal side, according to prosecutors, who say she is responsible for supplying the ketamine that killed Matthew Perry.

Between hosting lavish parties and flying private jets, Sangha has allegedly been operating as a prolific drug dealer in Los Angeles.

Her alleged antics even earned her the nickname “Ketamine Queen,” according to an indictment charging her and four others in connection with Perry’s October 2023 overdose death.

The US-British citizen is currently in prison, where she will remain until her trial in October.

Alleged drug dealer Jasveen Sangha has not been shy about flaunting her flashy lifestyle.

Friends told DailyMail.com that just days ago, Sangha had been celebrating his birthday at a bar in Hollywood.

But her new home is a far cry from the glitzy lifestyle she frequently displays on her Instagram page.

Just two weeks after Perry’s death, Sangha traveled to Tokyo, where she indulged in lychee martinis at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, where suites cost $1,847 a night.

A few months later, another post shows her enjoying caviar as she looks forward to traveling to Mexico in February, just four months after Perry’s death.

Sangha posted smiling selfies while soaking up the sun on a trip to Playa del Carmen, where she showed off her beachfront residence while sipping cocktails poolside.

She also boasted about her track record in health and wellness: She uses an IV drip after late-night parties and is an advocate of “sound healing,” which she calls “absolutely uplifting and cleansing for the heart and soul.”

The week before Perry’s death, Sangha threw a lavish “Players Ball”-themed 40th birthday party, where she posed in front of a Maybach.

Her wardrobe is an endless rotation of Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, Louis Vuitton sneakers and Chanel clothes.

His family is linked to a fashion line called Michael Paul, which had showrooms in London in the 1980s.

Just hours before her arrest, Sangha took to Instagram again fresh from the salon to rock a vibrant purple hairstyle.

Prosecutors allege she was part of a “vast criminal network” that supplied drugs to celebrities.

Reports have since emerged that Sangha met Perry during a stint in rehab, where she also befriended Charlie Sheen’s ex-actress wife Brooke Mueller.

A photo posted by Sangha’s uncle shows the alleged drug dealer partying with Sheen during a night out in Beverly Hills.

Sangha is just one of five who were arrested on August 15 in connection with Perry’s death on October 28, 2023.

The actor was found unconscious in the hot tub of his Los Angeles home and was later ruled to have died from the “acute effects of ketamine.”

He was receiving ketamine infusion therapy to treat his depression at the time, but his last sessions were a week and a half before he died, ruling out the possibility that the ketamine in his system was the cause of this.

Doctors Salvador Plasencia, 42, and Mark Chavez, 54, drug dealer Eric Fleming, 54, and Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, were later charged.

In an indictment, texts between the defendants revealed that Sangha was known in the community for “dealing only with high-level people and celebrities” in her drug business.

She is accused of using her North Hollywood residence, referred to in the indictment as the “Sangha Stash House,” to store, package and distribute narcotics, including ketamine and methamphetamine.

Sangha is also alleged to have been aware of the dangers of selling ketamine after another alleged client of his, Cody McLaury, died of an overdose in 2019.

DEA Administrator Anne Milgram said Sangha was a “major source of supply (of drugs) in Los Angeles during an appearance on the show Today’s program.

“She was still running a drug business,” Milgram said. “She was a major drug dealer, we’ve now been able to link her sale of ketamine to a person who died in 2019. She’s a major source of supply in Los Angeles.”

Los Angeles real estate agent Greg Wasik told DailyMail.com he was shocked to learn his long-time friend had been charged with selling the drugs that killed Perry.

But Wasik said Sangha seemed normal and serene as she celebrated her 41st birthday with friends at a Hollywood bar just days ago.

“I was at his birthday party the other day and I had no idea that anything like that was going on in his life,” she said. “He was definitely a pretty normal person that I’ve known for years.”

Artist Heather Pardieu, 42, also said she was shocked to learn of the charges against her friend Sangha, but suggested at least some of the responsibility for Perry’s death lay with the actor himself.

“She’s a friend of mine,” Pardieu told DailyMail.com. “I mean, at the end of the day, nobody forces anyone to take drugs.”

He added that he had never seen Sangha dealing or involved with drugs.

Sangha’s trial date is scheduled for October 15, while Plascencia is scheduled to appear on October 8.

The other defendants have already pleaded guilty or plan to do so.
