Last month, he lost his lawsuit against the AFP over an early morning raid on his home. about the accusation that she may not have Reported income received from working on Onlyfans..

However, he argued that the search warrant was “invalid” and an “abuse of power” because it did not adequately specify the allegation of wrongdoing that underpinned it.

He appeared at the Federal Court in Adelaide but was told he had lost his battle with the AFP and Services Australia and had to pay court costs. The daily telegraph reported.

He now faces a huge legal bill of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

“Today was not the result I expected, however, I will always stand up for what is right,” he shared at the time.

‘At the end of the day, this was to show the little one that you have a voice, use it, be proud and believe in yourself.

‘Unfortunately that’s how the system works, but never lose hope, let your light continue to shine. Fight for what you believe in, the truth.

‘This was a proud moment for me. I have grown a lot in the last 12 months and emerged stronger and wiser.’

The Federal Court heard in August that Stacey may have underreported her true income over an 18-month period and Services Australia raised concerns she may have improperly received carer payments.

But Stacey, who appeared in court and represented herself during a civil judicial review application, said the search warrant was “invalid” and an “abuse of power” because it did not adequately specify the allegation of wrongdoing behind it. .

“(The order) is too broad,” he said. “There are too many types of income.”

Stacey also objected to an interview with a Services Australia officer that took place during the search, telling the court it would not have happened without what she said was an invalid court order.

“They had to exercise it through the channel of search warrants,” he said. ‘It was not delivered personally to the door.

“They were using the search warrant to conduct that interview.”

Judge Stephen McDonald said the case would depend on whether “the aspect of the orders” met the legal standard outlined by the High Court.

Paul d’Assumpcao, a lawyer for the AFP and Services Australia, argued the terms of the order were “well within the threshold of what is acceptable to the courts”.

He disputed her characterization that the allegation stated in the warrant was not sufficient and said the warrant provided more information than the Penal Code requires.

He also argued that the courts had recognized the need to provide investigative agencies such as the AFP “sufficient flexibility” in the way they investigated alleged criminal offences.

“At some point you have to strike a balance,” he said.

‘At what level do we cross the line and say that (the information provided in a court order) is good enough?’

Judge McDonald said an order did not need to offer the particularity of an indictment and that the complexity of the case arose in “how to draw the line” on what was required in an order.

Stacey was not charged with any crime and there is no allegation of any crime on her part.

Judge McDonald said he would “reserve his decision” and would deliver it at a later date.

Speaking to NewsWire earlier this year, Stacey said she would sue the government for damages if she won her case.

“I haven’t been arrested and nothing has come of this,” he said.

‘But for me it is the beginning, the fact that they came to my house for no reason, as an admitted lawyer, at 6 in the morning, with my two children who had lost their father and traumatized us.

‘What effect does that have on my mental health, on the health of my children, also on my job, on being able to work?’
