Country star Morgan Wallen was arrested last weekend after he allegedly threw a chair from a rooftop bar in Nashville.
Wallen, 30, was upset that his ex Katie ‘KT’ Smith had secretly eloped just days after getting engaged when he threw the chair, DailyMail.com revealed.
Smith announced last week that she and Luke Scornavacco had tied the knot after a brief engagement and less than a year of dating.
But before her romance with Luke, she was in a relationship with Wallen, and the two had a son named Indigo after they broke up.
Wallen began dating Smith in December 2016 before popping the question just four months later, according to Page six.

But in August 2018 they ended their engagement and just over a year later they had separated.
Smith described the struggles they endured at the end of their relationship on her blog, and in one entry she claimed that Wallen wasn’t “the most faithful” when on tour while describing how their connection had become “difficult” in their last year together.
“We started talking on Snapchat (LOL) and hung out very often, we started dating and then got engaged a few months later,” she wrote on her account. Blog. “We broke off the engagement, but we continued dating steadily for about two years, living together for about three, but that third year was difficult. In July 2020, they welcomed their son Indigo Wilder, who was conceived after their breakup, according to People.
Announcing Indigo’s birth on Instagram at the time, Wallen posted, “I’ll be the dad you deserve and also the co-parent your mom deserves.” Since you were born, I know that every decision I make will be with you in mind.
“I promise that I will always protect you and do my best to be an example of a good and godly man, just like my dad was to me.”

KT is now married to Luke Scornavacco, just five days after announcing their engagement.
“Yesterday was nothing short of utter bliss… Indie Wilder, you are your mother’s answered prayer for infinity and the cutest piece of human ham I have ever seen.”
But the exes initially had a difficult time co-parenting, with Smith writing on her blog: “Co-parenting with Morgan at first was extremely difficult because it was so new to both of us and I was still bitter towards him.”
“After time passed and Indie became my life, I felt really healed,” she added.
Indigo’s parents reached a better place in their co-parenting agreement once he turned six months old.
‘We just have everything figured out. But KT worked with me the whole time, so I’ve been able to see him a lot since he was born,” she previously told People. “So if you walk into my house now, you think a baby lives here.”

Smith has since announced his marriage to Scornavacco.
KT released a collection of cute pictures with the caption “swipe for a surprise” last week, culminating with a photo of their marriage certificate.
The couple went public with their romance in May 2023.
KT revealed that Scornavacco had popped the question on Easter Sunday after less than a year of dating and shared images of the proposal.

Smith wore all white while Luke knelt in a romantic display with a floral arch and candles.
They celebrated the special occasion with their mothers and KT’s son Indigo.

Wallen was released on bail from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department after throwing the chair from the Chiefs Bar shortly after 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
He was charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and officers alleged the chair landed three feet away from them.
Scornavacco proposed with a Brilliant Earth princess-cut diamond ring, which Smith showed off on her Instagram Story on Monday.
Wallen was upset that Smith eloped with Luke Scornavacco on April 3, just five days after they got engaged.
Sources told DailyMail.com: “KT’s marriage to Luke last week just crushed him.”
The source added: “Of course he knew they were engaged and would eventually get married, but he eloped just days after getting engaged?
‘Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn’t remain faithful to her. And now another man is going to raise his child.

Wallen and Smith’s son was there to witness his mother’s engagement after Scornavacco, 22, took a knee on March 29 at Magnolia Farm in Eagleville, Tennessee.
Her ex-lover shared a series of love-struck photos of her new lover and defended herself against those online who questioned the speed of their relationship.
She denied that the nuptials were a shotgun wedding, but joked that ‘now that we’re married we can try anything we want,’ on her Instagram Story.
