Sarah Roberts announced her divorce from her husband of five years, James Stewart. in an emotional tell-all interview earlier this month, but a source revealed there’s more to the story.
Breaking the news in an interview for a shock magazine, the At home and away Star, 39, said she and James, 48, simply “drifted apart.”
A friend of the actress allegedly claimed now to love that the couple split “bruised and hurt” after “complex” issues arose.
“James has faced personal problems similar to those he encountered when he was with his ex-partner Jess Marais,” the source allegedly said.
Jess and James share daughter Scout, 12, and were engaged for five years until their split in 2015.

“Their relationship problems were too complex and in the end, love died and both of them, bruised and hurt, decided to go their separate ways,” the source added.
“Sarah has always had big dreams of wanting to venture abroad and take her career to the US and James wasn’t a fan – his first priority is Scout.”
