Shit just got real. “The Fed is in every crib, damn they got the kids in handcuffs,” the rapper wrote in another post.

2006

The long-running feud between the two rappers began in 2006, when 50 Cent released his single The Bomb, which seemed to suggest that Diddy had inside knowledge about the 1997 murder of Notorious B.I.G.

A chorus of the song says, “Who shot Biggie Smalls?” We won’t catch them / They’ll kill us all. Man, Puffy knows who hit that black.

This apparent accusation came even though 50 Cent never had any evidence of Diddy’s involvement in the murder of Biggie Smalls, and the case remains officially unsolved to this day.

Meanwhile, Diddy has frequently denied having any information about the killer.

2014

The pair continued to trade jabs and insults on social media, as well as in their own songs, for years, before their feud escalated in 2014, when they were chosen by competing vodka brands to act as brand ambassadors.

Diddy has been co-owner of the well-known brand Ciroc since 2007, seven years before 50 Cent represented the Dutch brand Effen Vodka.

‘Puff’s isn’t even vodka. It’s grapes and it says “made with vodka,” you know what I mean? 50 Cent commented when he appeared on the Drink Champs podcast in 2018.

‘(Effen) is made from Dutch wheat and distilled five times, so it has a lot less sugar, it’s the right way.

“And then when your head hurts because you finished the full bottle of Ciroc… I told you I was smarter.”

50 Cent sold his stake in Effen Vodka for a reported $60 million in 2017.

Announcing the news on Instagram at the time, he wrote: “I have the bag, EFFEN Vodka, can you say 60 million as they like to count my money? DO THE COUNTS.” Ha ha ha’.

2018

In 2018, 50 Cent further strained relations between the two rappers after claiming that Diddy is “fruity.”

On an episode of The Breakfast Club podcast, he said, “When he says things, he doesn’t even know that what he’s saying is fruity.”

‘What are you talking about? “When people tell me that I feel a little uncomfortable.”

50 Cent continued: ‘He said something to me a long time ago, at Chris Lighty’s wedding. He told me he would take me shopping. I looked at him like,

‘What did you just say? Let me move, man, before I do anything. You’re going to make me ruin the wedding. No. That’s something a boy says to a girl.

Surprisingly, Diddy responded by appearing to quell rumors of any unrest between the couple, saying that 50 Cent “loves” him.

I have no problem with Fif. “He loves me,” Diddy said during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.

‘Can’t they see that he loves me? Do you really think that’s hate? You know he loves me.

The rapper, who faces mounting sexual harassment and rape claims, was nowhere to be seen as officers searched his property, removing boxes and bags of evidence.

What likely fueled 50 Cent’s ire was the revelation that Joy was identified as the ‘sex worker’ named in the explosive lawsuit filed against Diddy by a former employee; Joy has strongly denied the allegation, calling it a ‘character assassination’.

Joy dropped the rape claim amid news that 50 Cent is seeking sole custody of their preteen son.

In a text written on a black background on Instagram, Joy harshly criticized her ex: “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping and physically abusing me.”

‘You are no longer my oppressor and my God will manage you from this moment on. You have permanently damaged the last hope he had for you as a father.’
