Lyons, 58, bought the luxury apartment in 1998 for $604,000, according to reports. The Wentworth Messenger On Wednesday.
According to the publication, Lyons, who was mayor of Geelong from 2013 to 2016, is currently enjoying a stay in the exclusive St. Tropez on the French Riviera, and has rented the apartment at least three times since 2010.
The last time the apartment was on the market was in 2022 for $1,150.
Known for his eccentric style, Lyons has designed his Sydney apartment with a number of striking features, including a freestanding bathtub made of transparent pink Perspex.
Each bathroom features marble fixtures and ambient lighting.
