After securing his spot on an NFL roster with the Chicago Bears, Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, appears to have a new girlfriend, too.
As the former USC quarterback prepared to be selected to lead the Bears into a new era, Williams lit up the Internet while walking the red carpet with Alina Thyregod.
The couple was clearly in sync as Williams wore a chic Chrome Hearts suit, while his girlfriend wore a matching silver dress.
Before the draft, Williams said he would even paint his pinky nail silver to match his girlfriend’s dress at the draft. “I’m comfortable with myself,” Williams told reporters about his plans to paint his nails.
But who is Alina Thyregod? The information appears to be limited and her presence on social media is particularly discreet.

The former USC quarterback was selected by the Chicago Bears with the first pick on Thursday.
Thyregod’s Instagram is set to private and she is also not particularly active on TikTok, posting only 12 times in the last four years. However, two of her posts feature Williams.
One of them was published in January and seemed to be in the first signs that they were a couple.
It showed them, apparently on vacation, in a luxurious paradise hotel. Thyregod appears in a green bikini before Williams jumps on her back to see if she can support her weight.
They finally hugged while laughing and the post racked up just under 18,000 views.
Then, Thyregod also posted a behind-the-scenes video of the pair preparing for the draft on Thursday night. She showed her combing her hair before cutting to a photo of them dressed and ready to go. She captioned it: “Draft day.”
Then, as they celebrated Williams’ selection, she posted a photo to her Instagram Story wearing a Chicago hat with a friend and captioned it: ‘let’s go bearssss.’
Thyregod’s Instagram account is private but he is active on TikTok, although not regularly.
Williams had been dating Valery Orellana since 2020 and, with a photo of them going to prom as partners, the quarterback made their relationship Instagram official.
While the post was deleted, the couple remains present in each other’s lives, as seen on their Instagram stories, with Valery constantly supporting Caleb during his Heisman-winning college career.
Orellana will graduate from UNC Chapel Hill in 2025 and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communications, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
It’s unclear exactly when Williams and Thyregod officially started dating after that initial TikTok post surfaced, but we do know that she was confirmed for the draft a few weeks ago.
On April 13, Williams tweeted, “Wait until you see my day suit and bridesmaid dress.” 1 of 1.’
The former Heisman winner also revealed that he and Thyregod used to date when they were students at Gonzaga College High School.

Additionally, speaking on The Pivot Podcast earlier this month, Williams said: “She’s from Europe, Danish. She moved from DC because her dad had a job in DC.
‘I met her at the end of her term. We went out a little. Then we finish it.
‘We maintained solid communication for four years. We’re going out again.’
And when draft night came, they looked very loved up.
After posing on the red carpet with Williams’ mother, Dayna Price, they took a seat in Detroit’s green room and began playing cards.
Then, when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell called Williams’ name, the couple embraced lovingly before he walked out on stage.
Now Bears fans can expect to see her at Soldier Field next season after her boyfriend was chosen to lead Chicago into the future.
