Million-dollar mobile homes are hitting the market in exclusive beachfront communities coveted by celebrities and the ultra-wealthy.

Real estate prices have skyrocketed across the country, particularly in California and New York, where they have reached all-time highs in cities such as Los Angeles and Manhattan.

And while a mobile home – often with no more than one bedroom and one bathroom – may seem like an effective cost-cutting measure, the latest properties to hit the market are far from a bargain.

This includes a 600-square-foot, $3.2 million abode that was for sale Thursday. The property is located in Montauk, a stunning New York village known for its beaches and scenic views.

The home has two bedrooms and one bathroom and is currently the most expensive active property in the Montauk Shores mobile home park.

While Montauk Shores is arguably the biggest name on the East Coast, California is home to several luxury RV parks.
