She wrote: “If anyone in Southport sees this cat can they message me? He’s been gone since Monday. I think he’s really scared because of all the people that were at my house.”

‘He has been seen in my area, but he is too scared to approach anyone 🙁 he is a very friendly and cuddly cat. You can usually pick him up like a baby, but he is scared, so if you see him, be gentle and very cautious with the.

It comes after Veruca revealed in a heartbreaking Instagram post on Tuesday that her newborn son Cash had ‘suddenly died in his sleep’ the previous morning.

“I’m only saying this because people are still commenting on my TikToks saying how happy I look with him and ‘just wait for the kid stage’ and stuff, and I really can’t take it anymore.” Very sorry.’

Queensland Police said initial investigations indicate the death was not suspicious.

“At the moment it is still under investigation and we are awaiting the results of the autopsy,” Gold Coast Superintendent Craig Hanlon said.

“It’s obviously a tragic situation and our hearts go out to the mother and the family.”

Police confirmed they were called to a unit in Southport at around 6.13am on Monday.

Since the tragic news, Veruca’s social media posts have been flooded with messages of support from attentive fans.

Her best friend, Michael Finch, also took to Instagram on Thursday to share a heartfelt tribute to Veruca and Cash following the devastating news.

Alongside a black and white photo of him cradling the newborn, the Gold Coast food blogger wrote: “Uncle Michael loves you.”

Amid the outpouring of support, some keyboard warriors have also cruelly taken aim at the grieving mother as she tries to deal with the devastating loss.

She was forced to hit back at a TikTok user who questioned how she could post videos on the social media platform following the death of her newborn.

‘I don’t hate, but I don’t know how people can make TikToks right after their kids have died. Like setting up the camera, voiceovers, editing,” the person wrote.

“I was in bed for weeks, a complete disaster. RIP.’

On Wednesday night, Veruca responded: ‘Your baby is not dead, mine is.

“I was literally talking about this with my friends, like it didn’t take a long time to do something for people to say ‘this is not how I would act’ from people who are literally imagining what it would be like,” he said.

‘You have no idea why your baby is not dead. Mine is, and I found it that way and it’s not happening to you.

“And if it were happening to you, you would know that bed is the last place you want to be, because God forbid you fall asleep.”

‘Every time you wake up you will forget, you will go look for your baby and he won’t be there.

‘And you’re going to be in someone else’s house, in someone else’s bed because no one is going to leave you alone.

And you won’t want to go back to your bed. You won’t want to come home because your baby is all over the house.

‘You have no idea the things that go through my head every five seconds. I feel crazy. I feel crazy. And you don’t understand it.

Followers quickly jumped to Veruca’s defense and assured her that she didn’t have to explain her actions.
