Steph Claire Smith has hit out at expectations that she should hurry up and give her little boy a sibling.

The fitness influencer, who is now pregnant with her second child, tells this week’s edition of stellar magazine who was focused on her business, KIC, a wellness app, for some time after welcoming her three-year-old son Harvey.

“I think there’s still a presumption that if you’re going to have one, then you have to give him a brother. There’s a lot of pressure to deal with,” the 30-year-old said.

‘I wasn’t in a position where I could, or wanted to, just pop (the babies) out and (get pregnant) straight away. I didn’t have that desire,’ he continued.

‘It would have been very, very difficult with what we were trying to do with the business.

“(KIC) was my baby for so long that sometimes it takes priority over some personal wishes.”

Steph said she and her husband, Josh Miller, whom she married in 2019, had many difficult conversations about the “right time” to try for a second child.

She also considered the feelings of her business partner, Laura Henshaw, with whom she co-hosts the KIC podcast.

“With the first pregnancy, I was a little naïve as to how that could affect the business or even my relationship with my co-founder,” Steph explained. t

“There were a lot of times where we didn’t have some of those important, honest conversations during that process.”

Steph is now expecting and posted on Instagram earlier this month to share the news.

Steph, who often features her three-year-old son Harvey in her social media posts, announced the news with a series of black and white photos.

The health and fitness influencer recently received backlash from her followers for taking her son Harvey to the gym.

Steph responded to criticism in early September when she was criticized for going to the gym with her young son Harvey.

“I think there’s still a presumption that if you’re going to have one, then you have to give him a brother. There’s a lot of pressure to deal with,” the 30-year-old said.

She shared a video of herself at the gym with her son in tow, prompting mom-shaming trolls to criticize her for not being without Harvey another time.

One follower commented: ‘If it was your day with him, why did you need to go to the gym? Wouldn’t you like to do fun things with him?

In a since-deleted TikTok post and Instagram reel, Steph responded to her critics, saying she didn’t “need someone else’s judgment.”

She fumed: “If that’s not how you parent, that’s fine, but passing this kind of judgment publicly is very unnecessary.”

This comment was on my last video, where I showed myself working out at the gym and taking Harvey with me for the first time.

Steph also insisted that taking time to exercise is not a selfish act on the part of a parent and suggested that taking a young child to the gym was a way of instilling a healthy lifestyle in them.

The 100-hectare tract has been listed with a guide price of between $8 million and $8.8 million.

The founder of Soda Shades revealed to Australian Financial Review Sunday that the house had sentimental value since it was where he met Steph for the first time.

The couple became engaged and later married in 2019 at the property. They also lived there for some time.

The land was purchased by Josh’s father, Ken Miller, twenty years ago.

The Melbourne-based businessman then spent thousands of dollars turning the site into a luxurious country getaway.

Called ‘Clarendon Eyre’, the secluded property is situated close to the banks of the majestic Murray River.

It has a 16ha golf course with Santa Ana fairways, sand bunkers and an ornamental lake.

The main house was built from two existing dwellings, which were specially sent to the site to create one large house.

Josh recently canceled original plans to merge the two buildings, one a weatherboard house and the other the former Mornington Art Gallery.

Design features include a classic ‘Australian verandah’, box windows and ornate finishes.

The interior offers an ultra-modern look and features a built-in sound system, hardwood floors and porcelain countertops.

There’s also a pool, spa, large entertainment deck, tennis court, and home theater.
