Steph Claire Smith came under fire from fans on Monday when she shared explicit details about her sex life with husband Josh Miller.

The influencer, 30, recounted a recent sexual injury on her KICPOD podcast and spared no gruesome details, leaving her Instagram followers embarrassed.

Her extremely graphic story about a mishap with a sex toy attracted backlash online from listeners who said Steph should “keep it to herself” and stop “seeking attention.”

‘What happens with your husband in the bedroom should stay in the bedroom…where is the respect and privacy these days?’ one person commented.

‘Oh God. Keep it to yourself. “This overt sexual talk is very exaggerated and attention seeking,” added another.

A third wrote: “It’s 7am,” while someone else said the explicit segment of the podcast was “strange and uncomfortable.”

Other fans said they found it “strange” that Steph and her co-host Laura Henshaw have decided to start “talking openly” about their sex life.

‘I just don’t find it very engaging and I definitely wouldn’t want my daughter to listen to this type of content. Sad because I really admired them both,’ they said.

“Harvey will love this in the future,” another added sarcastically, referring to the three-year-old son Steph shares with Miller.

Someone else fumed: “Desperate for attention and listeners.” Your podcast is boring. You need to (go back) to the drawing board. Be more creative.’

Despite the backlash, some loyal fans came to Steph’s defense and criticized her detractors, saying they loved hearing the influencer talk openly about her personal life.

‘The comments section is boring! I appreciate you being open about (sex). Give the people what they want (at least those of us who aren’t stupid),’ one person wrote.

Another said: ‘The comments are as funny as (the) snippet! This is nothing normal girlfriends don’t talk about, they’re just spreading it to us, I’m here for it.’

‘I laughed a lot hearing this at work. I love it!’ added a third, while one user called Steph’s criticism “pathetic.”

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Steph’s representatives for comment.

It’s the second time in as many months that the health and fitness influencer has received backlash from her followers.

Her story sparked backlash online from listeners who said Steph should “keep it to herself” and stop “seeking attention.”

Steph responded to criticism in early September when she was criticized for going to the gym with her young son Harvey.

She shared a video of herself at the gym with her son in tow, prompting mom-shaming trolls to criticize her for not being without Harvey another time.

One follower commented: ‘If it was your day with him, why did you need to go to the gym? Wouldn’t you like to do fun things with him?

In a since-deleted TikTok post and Instagram reel, Steph responded to her critics, saying she didn’t “need someone else’s judgment.”

She fumed: “If that’s not how you parent, that’s fine, but passing this kind of judgment publicly is very unnecessary.”

“This comment was in my last video, where I showed myself working out at the gym and taking Harvey with me for the first time.”

Steph also insisted that taking time to exercise is not a selfish act on the part of a parent and suggested that taking a young child to the gym was a way of instilling a healthy lifestyle in them.
