An influencer has revealed that she was left with a drooping eyelid after getting Botox at a local medical spa, saying she looks like the supervillain ‘Two-Face’.
Whitney Buha, 34, of Chicago, Illinois, shared updates on her condition with her 60,000 Instagram followers over the past week after her eye started drooping, causing her other eye to bulge to overcompensate for her reduced vision.
‘I can’t believe I’m going to show you this, but I get a lot of questions about what happened with the Botox,’ she told her Instagram Stories“Many of you are getting Botox. You didn’t know this is possible. I also didn’t know this was possible. ‘

Before and after: Whitney woke up with her left eye drooping and her other eye bulging to make up for her reduced vision
Whitney got her first Botox shot when she turned 30 three years ago, and she’s continued to get it bi-annually with no problem – until now.
She explained that at her appointment earlier this month, she had Botox injected into her forehead, eyebrows and upper lip to get a ‘lip flip’.
The blogger noticed she left brow wasn’t lifted as high as the right one, and she texted her injector, telling her to come back to the medspa for four more units of Botox to make them even.
Whitney knew something was going terribly wrong when she woke up three days later with a drooping eye, a condition known as ptosis.
Since I went back, this is what happened. So whatever she did, this muscle relaxed, ”she said, pointing to the area just below her eyebrow.

The appearance of the prolapse was made worse by her right eye, which was listening.
As you can see, my right eye is now very wide open. I swear it’s wider than for Botox, ”she noted. ‘I look like Two-Face. It’s so embarrassing. I can’t believe I’m showing this. ‘
Whitney was initially told that nothing could be done because Botox cannot be dissolved. She spoke to a plastic surgeon who said he had never seen such a bad eye, but he assured her it was temporary.
The influencer, who works in marketing full-time, said she was uncomfortable sharing the name of the medical spa, but noted that her injector is a registered nurse she had been with before.
After all that has happened, she admitted that she will likely never go back to that location, even though this experience hasn’t turned her Botox off.
Scary: The nurse at the local medical spa she went to offered to inject four more units to lift her left eyebrow, but the Botox seeped into the muscle that lifts the eyelid, causing her eyelid to droop

Solution for at home? She has tried to speed up the process by massaging the area with her electric toothbrush and steaming her eyes, which she has also documented
“If I’m 100 percent honest, yes, I’ll get Botox again in the future,” she admitted. You can judge me and say I’m crazy, but I’ve been on botox for three years and I’ve never had a problem until now.
‘I think these things can happen, but it’s rare,’ she added. “If Botox is good, it is really good.”
Whitney ended up getting more Botox to fix the problem after a nurse serving as a medical director at another medical spa recommends two more units in her lids by her lashes for the lid to be lifted.
The professionals she spoke to believed that the Botox seeped into the nearby levator palpebrae superioris, causing the upper eyelid to lift, causing it to droop after the injection.
She is still waiting for her final Botox treatment to fix and hopefully fix the problem, but she was also prescribed eye drops that help her lift her eyelid a few millimeters.
Whitney has kept her fans in the loop with daily photos, and her eyes seem to be slowly getting better by the day.

She has tried to speed up the process by massaging the area with her electric toothbrush and steaming her eyes, which she has also documented.
Whitney has somehow managed to maintain her sense of humor about the situation, but she noted that it helped to know that the hanging out is temporary.
“I feel like the year we’ve all had, it’s just been such a crazy year and it hasn’t been a great year for anyone,” she said. “So this was a little bit different that I thought,” Well, this is just something that happens, and we’re just getting over it. ”
The blogger said she will continue to receive Botox in the future, although she will be more careful with her injector.
“If you have Botox and it’s done right, I love it,” she said. ‘It looks good. It makes me feel better. ‘
