  • A fight over a park bench has been labeled ‘the most British brawl ever’
  • In the viral clip, an influencer and a man argue in a British park

An apparent altercation between a fitness influencer and a man on a park bench has been viewed thousands of times on social media, but viewers have suggested when it was likely “staged.”

The short clip shows a young woman addressing a camera mounted on a tripod in a park after completing a 5km run.

As she starts talking to the camera, a man wanders into the shot and parks himself on the bench directly behind it, causing her to lose her flow.

She steps up to the man and says, “Excuse me, I’m filming here and you’re in the picture?” to which he replies: ‘And?’

What follows is an excruciating two minutes back and forth that has been labeled ‘the most British argument ever’.

The drama begins when the influencer’s video is interrupted by the bench seat

At one point, referring to the young woman as “ageist,” the man wonders why she is so concerned about her followers.

She replies, “My followers, I know, will not want to see you.”

To which the man replies: ‘Your followers? Oh, are you Jesus now?’

At the end of the side-splitting video, neither party leaves satisfied.

As he empties his soap box, the man says, “Okay, well, I’m afraid I’m still love.”

To which the girl replies, “That’s not fair.”

She is promptly admonished for being “part of the triumphant bench seat’s snowflake brigade”

Since the video went viral on social media, many people have doubted whether ‘the most British argument ever’ was really just a staged bit.

One wrote, “This is like a comedy skit.”

Another compared it to Monty Python, saying, “The fact that this is real life and could have come straight out of a Monty Python sketch is amazing.”

Another said, ‘This can’t be true? Guy’s great when it’s legit.”

Another laughed that it was the perfect scene, writing, “That’s amazing, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a polite destruction of anyone’s ego in my entire life.”

“The accent makes it even better.”
