Castano posted it to her combined audience of nearly 700,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram.
She wrote on Instagram: “I look forward to this every year.”
The marching band played A Long Way to Tipperary, a song closely associated with World War I as soldiers used it to keep track of time as they went into battle.
The reaction to Castano’s clip was swift and brutal on TikTok.
“Wow very insensitive and rude. No wonder you don’t get any views as an ‘influencer’, one woman wrote.
“Have some respect,” another wrote.
Undeterred, Castano posted a statement to the clip after being slammed.
Castano claimed her dancing was her way of participating in the Anzac Day parade
“I could see the parade from my window and I joined in, as did everyone else who was there.”
Castano lives in Sydney CBD, overlooking Hyde Park where the parade ended and a memorial service was held next to The Pool of Remembrance at the Anzac War Memorial.
She also posted a video of her training with footballer boyfriend Aaron Evans, claiming she was ‘locked in’ due to Anzac Day activities nearby.
Daily Mail Australia approached Castano for comment.
