A young Thai influencer died after accepting the challenge of drinking an entire bottle of whiskey.
Thankam Kanthee, known online as ‘Bank Leicester’, was paid 30,000 Thai baht (or £700) to drink the 350ml bottle of alcohol.
The daredevil 21-year-old regularly faced challenges, including drinking hand sanitiser and wasabi in exchange for money for his family.
Kanthee reportedly vomited after drinking the large bottle at a birthday party.
Fellow partygoers were shown laughing with the influencer as he accepted the challenge, before things took a horrific turn for the worse around 3:40am local time on December 26, Mirror reported.
The influencer was left unconscious as a result of alcohol poisoning and was rushed to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Kanthee accepted the challenge while partying in the eastern Thai city of Chanthaburi.

Medical experts are carrying out an investigation into the cause of the influencer’s death.
In a statement, Chanthaburi provincial police said a suspect, Ekkachart “Em” Meephrom, had been charged with causing death by negligence.
The crime is punishable under Thailand’s criminal code by a sentence of up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to 200,000 baht, or both.
Ekkachart turned himself in and admitted to the charges, police said. He was denied bail by the local court and will remain in custody for at least 12 days amid ongoing investigations.
The incident occurred during a birthday party thrown for Ekkachart’s mother the night after Christmas Day.
