Two mutts rescued from the streets of Romania are now living a fantastic new life as they travel across Europe with their owners.
Photographer Anne Geier saved the Finn and Yuri crossbreeds, which were placed in a murder shelter.
Now Ann and her two dog buddies enjoy traveling to some of Europe’s most spectacular beauty spots in her VW T4 motorhome.
In her latest adventure with her two faithful canine companions, she spent two weeks touring the mountains and fjords of Norway to capture their journey with her camera.
Finn, a fox terrier and a Labrador cross, was adopted by Ann in 2014 and joined in 2017 by Yuri, an Australian cattle dog and border collie cross.

The result is a stunning series of beautifully shot portraits of the two dogs with crystal clear lakes, snow-capped peaks and misty forests as a backdrop.
Ann, who lives in Tauplitz, Austria, when not traveling in her van, said: ‘It’s perfect, we can go wherever we want and whenever we want.
‘We are completely free and flexible and not bound by any accommodation.
‘The dogs love the van.
‘It’s like a home for them.

‘I think moving from hotel to hotel every few days would be too stressful.
‘This way of traveling is different.
‘It is a very simple way of life and you have to reduce everything to only important things.
‘Of course it is sometimes quite difficult not to take a shower for days on end, sleep in a cold car or just have a little space during many rainy days.

‘For us it is absolutely the perfect way to travel and the greatest luxury we can imagine.
‘We have already traveled to different countries Norway, often to South Tyrol, Switzerland, Italy and Germany.
“And we’ve taken many short trips to great places here in my home country of Austria.”

Yuri had been held in a murder shelter after living on the streets for three years and, according to Ann, had been abused and neglected before taking him into her life.
She added: ‘Yuri is a really sweet dog. But he needed time to trust.
‘Yuri is a dog who – I think – had bad experiences with people in his past life.
‘You can tell when you get a little mad at him – he’s always afraid something bad will happen.

Finn is the calm anchor in my life.
More importantly, he’s Yuri’s calm anchor.
“Yuri is a hybrid of high-energy races … so Finn is Yuri’s best companion.”
“They complement each other perfectly.”
