A Miami Corvette owner was left speechless after catching a clumsy thief sitting inside his sports car.
Julio Solano approached his vehicle that was parked in a garage at Washington Avenue and 16th Street in Miami Beach on Monday morning when he saw an intruder in the driver’s seat.
When he approached the man, identified as Ravesh Rabindranauth, 33, he asked Solano for help after becoming trapped inside the car.
“My brother, this is not your car, it’s my car,” Solano told the suspect before calling police.
Miami Beach police soon arrived at the bizarre scene and arrested Rabindranauth, who now faces a charge of theft of an unoccupied vehicle.

Rabindranauth is seen in the driver’s seat of Solano’s car as Solano asks him what he is doing there.
The shocking moment occurred when Solano was returning to his car that morning.
After explaining to the alleged thief that he was inside his car, Solano asked him why he entered his vehicle.
Rabindranauth was seen responding to the owner when Solano interrupted him and asked, “But why are you in my car?”
The suspect, who spoke to Solano through the windshield, then asked if he could help him out of the car.
“You can’t go out because we’re going to call the police,” Solano told him.
Officers soon arrived at the scene and made Rabindranauth exit the vehicle, as he was seen crawling on the ground while police stood over him.
The officers then placed handcuffs on his wrists and lifted him off the ground.
Solano said Local 10 that he noticed the intruder “come out” from under the seat as he approached his car. “And I was shocked,” he recalled.
The car’s owner, Julio Solano (pictured), immediately pulled out his phone and recorded the suspect, Ravesh Rabindranauth, 33, asking him for help to get out.
He believes that although Rabindranauth managed to get into his Corvette, he was unable to start it because he did not have the keys.
“He was able to break into the car, but in that particular Corvette, if you’re in the car and you don’t have your keys, none of the electrical components will work,” the owner of the vehicle explained.
Solano added that there is a “manual door handle under the seat” in the car that would have helped Rabindranauth free himself.
“Thank God he didn’t know. You just have to be alert, know when you get in and out of the car, be attentive, be aware of what’s going on around you,” he added.
He then reported the incident to the owner of Premiere Auto Miami 1, an exotic car rental company, because they store similar vehicles in that same garage, according to investigators.
During his arrest, Rabindranauth agreed to speak with officers. He has no criminal record and no outstanding warrants.
He is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on $2,500 bail, according to arrest records.

Rabindranauth is seen being pulled out of the car by police officers and having his wrists handcuffed.
Rabindranauth was arrested and faces a charge of theft from an unoccupied vehicle. He is being held on $2,500 bail.
The car’s owner, Dennis Harrington, had just driven it out of the shop after having some body work done and putting it through its paces on a race track.
Harrington was at work when a co-worker told him he had seen a car “just like his.”
“Someone came up to me and said, ‘A car just like yours drove by. ‘ I said, ‘That’s my car! ‘ There’s no other car like it in America. It’s one of a kind,” Harrington said. Boston 25th
The muscle car was stolen from downtown Boston and driven six miles south to the suburb of Dorchester, where the thief left a path of destruction by crashing into parked vehicles around 2:30 p.m.
Damage ranged from a few scratches to shattered headlights and broken bumpers.
“There was a car that hit a couple of other cars in the neighborhood and then backed up, took a side street and hit a couple more cars,” local resident Damal Ray said.
The owners of the damaged cars and the stolen Buick proceeded to deal with their respective insurance companies to repair their vehicles.
